| January 2, 2014 Newsletter Schroeder Tennis Center | | SHOOTOUT RESULTS: | | OAKS, TRIMBACH, CORRELL WIN SHOOTOUT On Tuesday, Dec. 31st, Schroeder Tennis Center hosted our 16th annual JR Holiday shootout singles tournament. We had over 50 junior players participate in this event, which was divided up into 3 divisions of play.
In the "A" division, Luke Oaks defeated Justin Kopronica 6-2 in the final. In the final round of the "B" division, Jared Trimbach defeated Kennedy Reeder 6-1. In the "C" division, Matthew Correll defeated Laura Billing 6-4.
In the backdraw, Hannah Essick defeated Andrew Correll 6-3 in the "A" division, and Kaitlyn Harrison won the "B" division backdraw, defeating Karli Mulkey 6-3.
Congratulations to all of our Champions! | | GOOD LUCK 7.5 COMBO LADIES: | | GOOD LUCK 7.5 COMBO LADIES Good Luck to our Women's USTA 7.5 Combo team, captained by Carole Dresden, as they head to District competition at The Racquet Club of Columbus this weekend, January 3-4. The team won the Dayton league this summer and will play three matches Friday night and Saturday for the chance to move on to State competition. The team members are:
